In Dragon Age: Inquisition, the companions and advisors are the twelve people who join the Inquisitor. Nine companions accompany the Inquisitor in their journey whilst three advisors assist the Inquisitor in the running of the Inquisition.

Companions

Companions are the nine^[1] people who accompany the Inquisitor.

Blackwall: A warrior Grey Warden Constable.

Dorian: An Altus mage of the Tevinter Imperium.

Iron Bull: A Qunari warrior mercenary and Ben-Hassrath operative.

Sera: An elven archer and one of the Friends of Red Jenny.

Solas: An elven apostate mage and an expert on the Fade.

Advisors

Advisors are the three people who aid the Inquisitor in areas of military strategy, diplomacy, and espionage.

Cullen: An Knight-Captain of the Templar Order who served at Kinloch Hold and The Gallows.

Josephine Montilyet: An Antivan diplomat.
