The Commander's Plate armor set is a massive armor set in Dragon Age: Origins. Because the pieces are random loot, it is a rare item set and can be easily missed.

Acquisition Edit

The set pieces can be found as random loot in several specific locations (Ferelden treasure, boss rank). Since all pieces are random loot, make sure you save before entering each area as this will allow you to try again in case the armor pieces do not appear.

• The chest that contains Arl Eamon's Shield in the Redcliffe Castle vault. It is possible to get 2 of the 3 pieces of this set in this one chest at the same time.
• A cabinet in Bann Franderel's Manor's vault at the end of the Crime Wave quest.
• Fort Drakon during the final battle. The chest in the last small room right before you get to the room with Sandal
• During Return to Ostagar, the two crates near the second exit of the map after the bridge and before the Tower of Ishal.
• In a chest with Howe's Shield in the treasury of the castle during Rescue the Queen.
• A chest in Dane's Refuge
• A chance to drop from Raelnor's corpse after you defeat him during the A Change in Leadership quest from the Blackstone Irregulars
• The chest near Branka's Journal at the end of the Ortan Thaig.
• Korcari Wilds in a chest across a river (see Commander's Plate Boots for details).
• A chest in the Deep Woods while on the quest Jowan's Intention.
• A charred corpse in the last room of the orphanage in the quest Something Wicked in the Denerim Alienage.
• In Awakening, a chest in the Amaranthine chantry.
