Acquisition

The armor is randomly dropped by the Cultist Leader at Lake Calenhad Docks during the Urn of Sacred Ashes quest, after talking to The Spoiled Princess innkeeper about Brother Genitivi or any suspicious activity (which requires a previous conversation with Weylon).

Increasing the game difficulty to Nightmare may increase chances of him dropping the armor.^{[confirmation needed]}
