Is this category even needed? The definition of "animal" is just any living creature that's not human, so this seems a redundant copy of Category:Creatures. --Kelcat Talk 00:43, March 30, 2015 (UTC)

"Animal" specifically refers to eukaryotes, whereas creature is just a general term for any living things, including prokaryotes such as bacteria. So I think just having the "Creature" category is fine, seeing as how it covers a broader range than "animals." --FenrirSmallKeladin Storm 00:59, March 30, 2015 (UTC)

Delete proposal Edit

As discussed above a couple years ago, this category isn't really necessary in my opinion. There aren't any articles in this category that don't fit into other types of creature categories, so it's redundant. "Animals" is just too vague for the DA 'verse, and we already have which fits the bill better. --Kelcat Talk 03:38, June 23, 2017 (UTC)
