The Captain of the Guard is responsible for keeping the peace in the Orzammar Commons.

Background Edit

He is frustrated with the succession dispute and not thrilled to see a human or elf Warden. However, he is particularly hostile to dwarven Wardens. Telling a Dwarf Commoner that the Grey Wardens must have "cloud-addled heads" for accepting a "brand" and telling a Dwarf Noble "the Wardens should have better sense when choosing allies."

The Captain of the Guard will tell you that you need to speak with Vartag Gavorn or Dulin Forender and where to find them as part of A Paragon of Her Kind quest.
