This page contains a list of situational dialogue and conversations Argent has with other characters in Dragon Age: Inquisition multiplayer.
Argent's remarks[]
- (Fallen) Made, then unmade.
- (Revived) Warmth returns!
- (Opening a chest) I suppose that is something.
- (Between zones) It would be prudent to plan the attack.
- (Idle) Why do we wait?
- (Idle) My blades want for sharpening.
- (Idle) Do you hear the birdsong? Is it only me?
- (To DLC character banter) When they destroyed my previous employer, all her assets became theirs. Including me.
Argent and Amund[]
- Argent: This is the first time I've worked for an organization like the Inquisition. It was always a person before.
- Amund: I served the Lady of the Sky before, as I do now. The world is not as changed as you imagine, lowlander.
───────
- Argent: When we’re through, perhaps the spymaster will turn me over to someone else.
- Amund: Which one is the spymaster? It’s all looking down at the tops of hoods to me.
───────
- Argent: I like birds. I had a parakeet. It was blue. And then it died.
- Amund: Budgerigars are sacred to the Lady. I think she likes the chirping.
Argent and another Argent[]
- Argent: This is the first time I've worked for an organization like the Inquisition. It was always a person before.
- Other Argent: The Inquisition is like a person. Different parts, one body.
───────
- Argent: When we’re through, perhaps the spymaster will turn me over to someone else.
- Other Argent: Or maybe she won’t.
───────
- Argent: I like birds. I had a parakeet. It was blue. And then it died.
- Other Argent: We should get another.
Argent and Belinda[]
- Argent: This is the first time I've worked for an organization like the Inquisition. It was always a person before.
- Belinda: You still answer to the spymaster. She’s a person.
───────
- Argent: When we’re through, perhaps the spymaster will turn me over to someone else.
- Belinda: Or, you could stay with us.
───────
- Argent: I like birds. I had a parakeet. It was blue. And then it died.
- Belinda: I’m so sorry.
───────
- Belinda: I met the Divine Justinia only once before she died. She was lovely.
- Argent: The Divine is a hard woman to kill. You have to respect our enemy.
───────
- Belinda: I pray the Maker smiles on the Inquisition. Our cause is righteous!
- Argent: She may pray, if she does so quietly.
───────
- Belinda: I hope to stay and serve the Inquisition, once this war is over.
- Argent: I go where the spymaster bids, that will not change.
Argent and Cillian[]
- Argent: This is the first time I've worked for an organization like the Inquisition. It was always a person before.
- Cillian: Is there a difference, in the end?
───────
- Argent: When we’re through, perhaps the spymaster will turn me over to someone else.
- Cillian: She doesn't own you.
───────
- Argent: I like birds. I had a parakeet. It was blue. And then it died.
- Cillian: All things come to an end.
───────
- Cillian: I once dreamed of seeing places like this.
- Argent: I don’t dream.
───────
- Cillian: Being with the Inquisition has opened my eyes to how little I truly understood the world before.
- Argent: I understand enough to function within it. That’s all I need.
───────
- Cillian: Did anyone try that ham they had at camp yesterday?
- Argent: No.
Argent and Hall[]
- Argent: This is the first time I've worked for an organization like the Inquisition. It was always a person before.
- Hall: I’ve never been part of something like this before either.
───────
- Argent: When we’re through, perhaps the spymaster will turn me over to someone else.
- Hall: When we’re through, I just hope she doesn’t kill me.
───────
- Argent: I like birds. I had a parakeet. It was blue. And then it died.
- Hall: That’s… horrible!
───────
- Hall: There are so many people in the world. I'm not used the lack of silence.
- Argent: I work better alone as well.
───────
- Hall: I wonder if I'll ever be able to go back to the life I had before.
- Argent: Best not to wonder.
───────
- Hall: So when we get back does anyone fancy a drink at the tavern? That’s what friends do, right?
- Argent: I do not fraternise.
Argent and Isabela[]
- Argent: This is the first time I've worked for an organization like the Inquisition. It was always a person before.
- Isabela: Follow your own compass. Be your own captain! Hah… that sounded much better in my head.
───────
- Argent: When we’re through, perhaps the spymaster will turn me over to someone else.
- Isabela: Speaking of the spymaster, you won’t believe the stories I’ve heard about her. Wild in her day.
───────
- Argent: I like birds. I had a parakeet. It was blue. And then it died.
- Isabela: That got dark quick.
Argent and Katari[]
- Argent: This is the first time I've worked for an organization like the Inquisition. It was always a person before.
- Katari: You ought to try working for yourself.
───────
- Argent: When we’re through, perhaps the spymaster will turn me over to someone else.
- Katari: Yes, but what do you want.
───────
- Argent: I like birds. I had a parakeet. It was blue. And then it died.
- Katari: You’re not good at telling stories.
───────
- Katari: This Inquisition must be desperate, recruiting the way they do. Just look at us!
- Argent: This is a fine group, which I would not enjoy killing, if it came to that.
───────
- Katari: Ever fought a wyvern? I did once. Sold the head for good money, too.
- Argent: People will buy anything in Val Royeaux.
───────
- Katari: I’ll be happy if I never see a demon again after this.
- Argent: Demonic foes are tricky.
Argent and Korbin[]
- Argent: This is the first time I've worked for an organization like the Inquisition. It was always a person before.
- Korbin: There is strength in numbers.
───────
- Argent: When we’re through, perhaps the spymaster will turn me over to someone else.
- Korbin: You talk like you’re something to be passed from owner to owner.
───────
- Argent: I like birds. I had a parakeet. It was blue. And then it died.
- Korbin: Everything dies.
───────
- Korbin: This one time in the Deep Roads, I held off a group of darkspawn for two days.
- Argent: Perhaps the dwarf would fare better if we were fighting darkspawn instead.
───────
- Korbin: There's so much life on the surface. If not for the Inquisition, I would never have experienced it.
- Argent: I knew of a baroness with a menagerie in her bedroom. She liked nature.
───────
- Korbin: Once this is all over, I suppose I’ll have to return to the Deep Roads.
- Argent: It is pointless to speculate on the future.
Argent and Luka[]
- Argent: This is the first time I've worked for an organization like the Inquisition. It was always a person before.
- Luka: I worked for the Carta, they left me in the Vimmarks! I hated it.
───────
- Argent: When we’re through, perhaps the spymaster will turn me over to someone else.
- Luka: Can I keep you? You’re useful.
───────
- Argent: I like birds. I had a parakeet. It was blue. And then it died.
- Luka: Blue? It died of sadness?
───────
- Luka: Inquisition is such a funny word!
- Argent: I don’t get it.
───────
- Luka: When I was trapped in the Vimmark Mountains, I ate lots of mushrooms.
- Argent: Deep Mushrooms make decent poison.
───────
- Luka: I wonder if I could find that cave with the glowing lichen again – it was west of Ferelden.
- Argent: I will be of no help.
Argent and Neria[]
- Argent: This is the first time I've worked for an organization like the Inquisition. It was always a person before.
- Neria: I do not work for the Inquisition. I’m here as an ally on my own terms.
───────
- Argent: When we’re through, perhaps the spymaster will turn me over to someone else.
- Neria: I don’t understand humans. Is this normal?
───────
- Argent: I like birds. I had a parakeet. It was blue. And then it died.
- Neria: Birds are meant to be free, not held in cages. You should be sorry!
───────
- Neria: (gasps) I've never had my skills so tested in my life!
- Argent: It is all a test. Never stop paying attention.
───────
- Neria: It will be a relief to return to my clan once all this is done.
- Argent: If she survives.
───────
- Neria: I never thought I would say this, but I’ve learned much from traveling with you all.
- Argent: That is good news.
Argent and Rion[]
- Argent: This is the first time I've worked for an organization like the Inquisition. It was always a person before.
- Rion: Working for an organization beats living under its thumb.
───────
- Argent: When we’re through, perhaps the spymaster will turn me over to someone else.
- Rion: You seem to embrace servitude. It’s quite horrifying.
───────
- Argent: I like birds. I had a parakeet. It was blue. And then it died.
- Rion: Er, right.
───────
- Rion: You know, this Inquisition? Isn't as bad as I thought.
- Argent: I'm sure my opinion on the Inquisition bothers the Inquisition very little.
───────
- Rion: When this is over, I hope we mages are given some freedom. After all, isn’t the point to change things?
- Argent: It is not for me to decide the point.
───────
- Rion: Well, how's everyone doing today?
- Argent: Keeping an eye to the shadows.
Argent and Sidony[]
- Argent: This is the first time I've worked for an organization like the Inquisition. It was always a person before.
- Sidony: Did someone ask you for your life story? Keep quiet. It suits you better.
───────
- Argent: When we’re through, perhaps the spymaster will turn me over to someone else.
- Sidony: Good. Good for you.
───────
- Argent: I like birds. I had a parakeet. It was blue. And then it died.
- Sidony: Why? How? How does this help us?
───────
- Sidony: This is ridiculous. Why did I agree to come here?
- Argent: Because we needed your skill.
───────
- Sidony: (Disgusted noise.)
- Argent: Is that supposed to elicit sympathy?
───────
- Sidony: Once this is over, the spymaster promised to let me look at her library.
- Argent: She is a bard. She says what the listener wants to hear.
Argent and Tamar[]
- Argent: This is the first time I've worked for an organization like the Inquisition. It was always a person before.
- Tamar: I don’t like working for anyone.
───────
- Argent: When we’re through, perhaps the spymaster will turn me over to someone else.
- Tamar: She does that a lot, does she?
───────
- Argent: I like birds. I had a parakeet. It was blue. And then it died.
- Tamar: Why, did you kill it?
───────
- Tamar: Your Chantry goes belly up, the Inquisition steps in. Always something to keep the same people in power.
- Argent: Even when things change, they stay the same.
───────
- Tamar: The last time I met a group of rebel mages, I let them live. One of them told a funny story.
- Argent: Nobody has ever told me a story in exchange for not killing them? Sad.
───────
- Tamar: If I survive, I’ll be free. The commander gave his word – I fight for him, and I get to live.
- Argent: I have not had many dealings with the commander. He seems hard to kill.
Argent and Thornton[]
- Argent: This is the first time I've worked for an organization like the Inquisition. It was always a person before.
- Thornton: Organisation. Person. Makes little difference in the end.
───────
- Argent: When we’re through, perhaps the spymaster will turn me over to someone else.
- Thornton: You know you get to choose, if you want.
───────
- Argent: I like birds. I had a parakeet. It was blue. And then it died.
- Thornton: Eh? Why are you telling us that?
───────
- Thornton: When the Breach first opened, I managed to evade demons by hiding in a snowdrift.
- Argent: Snow makes a poor hiding spot, but with limited options, one must sometimes freeze to survive.
───────
- Thornton: Considering what we’re up against, I really hope the Inquisition knows what it’s doing.
- Argent: One shouldn’t ask so many questions for fear of the answers.
───────
- Thornton: If I survive this, maybe I’ll move to a cottage. Get a dog. And a vegetable garden.
- Argent: I have never had a dog. Or a garden.
Argent and Zither![]
- Argent: This is the first time I've worked for an organization like the Inquisition. It was always a person before.
- Zither!: Done a lot of solo gigs. If I don’t have at least a drummer and a sexy dulcimer player I feel naked and not in a good way.
───────
- Argent: When we’re through, perhaps the spymaster will turn me over to someone else.
- Zither!: Spymaster! I played a couple of sets with them in Montsimmard once. Great musicians, but rubbish in the sack.
───────
- Argent: I like birds. I had a parakeet. It was blue. And then it died.
- Zither!: Well that reminds me of a band I opened within Val Chevin. Bluebird Coop, or something. A lot of avant-garde rubbish.
