Background
He is a former apprentice of Wynne. (See Wynne's Regret). And after that he has lived for several years amongst the Dalish, but he is no more a Dalish then he is a circle mage, so he is now a lone elf healer, living in the woods with the animals and trees.
Involved In
After the quest Wynne's Regret, he will be in the East Brecilian Forest and The Warden can have a dialog with him, asking for several things. One of the things you can ask him for is to tend your wounds and he will heal everyone in the party for free.
