The Ancient Elven Boots are unique medium boots in Dragon Age: Origins. They are a part of the Ancient Elven armor set.
Acquisition
The boots are found by asking Ser Bryant in the Lothering chantry if there is other assistance he can provide. He will give the Warden a key to a locked cabinet in the chantry that contains the boots.
Background
Before the fall of Arlathan, even before Arlathan itself, the civilization of the elves stretched across all of Thedas like a great, indolent cat. This armor was made for temple guards in a time when the Creators still spoke to the elves. The techniques of its forging, even the name of the metal it is forged from, have long since faded from memory.

- The Ancient Elven Boots do not upgrade if sold to Mikhael Dryden.
- The boots can be substituted for Ceremonial Armored Boots on the console versions.
Bugs

Bug!  In the PC version, the boots never appear in the cabinet, rendering them unobtainable by normal means.

Known fixes:
- Install this mod.
- Install AddItemWithMaterial mod, enable the console, start the game, open the console, and enter: runscript additemwmat gen_im_arm_bot_med_elv.uti 1 4
- Use the toolset.
