An Offer of Help, on Their Terms is a war table operation in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Acquisition[]
Available after completing the operation Dwarven Slaves in Venatori Hands.
Operation text[]
A letter on dark vellum, with obviously Dwarven markings:
A hole in the surfacer's precious sky, not our concern. But the thing that did it? If this magister shit really brought the blight and the darkspawn, we're no friend of that. Follow these instructions, and you'll catch your enemy sleeping. Tell your soldiers not to leave the main tunnel. That's your only warning.
Binthus Warhelm Kal-Sharok
Advisor suggestions[]
Josephine - 4:00:00[]
Potential relations with another Dwarven thaig would be far more beneficial than a minor strike at the Venatori. At the least, send ambassadors with the soldiers.
Leliana - 3:12:00[]
They hold their secrets dear. Do as they say. No more, no less.
Cullen - 4:00:00[]
They can have their secrecy, but we don't know the threat on the other side of their passage. I'd send double that to even a threat of Venatori.
Results[]
Josephine[]
My apologies, Inquisitor. The instant the ambassadors stepped from the path, the tunnel was collapsed. Our people made it out, but just barely. They found a message at the entrance.
Josephine
A letter on dark vellum, with obviously Dwarven markings:
You had the route. You want trade, show you can follow rules. Next time, you listen. If next time comes.
Binthus Warhelm Kal-Sharok.
Leliana[]
Our soldiers' report that they passed through the tunnel without incident and surprised a sizable Venatori encampment. After the battle, they had to find a different route back because the tunnel had collapsed. They found this letter.
Leliana
A letter on dark vellum, with obviously Dwarven markings:
You follow instructions well. Respect of our territory is a first step. We shall see.
Binthus Warhelm Kal-Sharok.
Respect of our territory is a first step, and better than we expect from a child of the sods in the "capital". We aren't kin, but there may be trade. We shall see. Kalnath-par kallak, Kalnath-gat parthas
Binthus Warhelm Kal-Sharok.
Inqusition experts have attempted a loose translation the last line below. It isnt typical Dwarven:
Family through war, Family unto peace.
Cullen[]
Our soldiers' report is not good. Halfway through the passage, the air fouled, and they had to turn back. They found a message at the entrance.
Cullen
A letter on dark vellum, with obviously Dwarven markings:
The tunnel was cut for the number you were told, and no more. You want to trek the roads, next time you listen. If next time comes.
Binthus Warhelm Kal-Sharok.
