A Stranger Rift in the Ruins is a side quest in Dragon Age: Inquisition.

There's ancient magic at work in the Still Ruins that appears to be slowing time. A Fade rift appears frozen in place and whatever's keeping the magic at work is preventing the Rift from closing.

Acquisition Edit

The quest is acquired by examining the rift within the Still Ruins Main Chamber.

To disable the time magic, the Inquisitor must reach the Inner Sanctum chamber of the ruins, accessible after completing The Heart of the Still Ruins quest. Picking up the Tempest magic staff in the room will thaw the demons that were captured in the time-freezing spell.

The Inquisitor will have to fight through them to return to the Main Chamber, and close the Fade rift, to complete the quest.
