Just found out that invisible walls can be walked around and then checked the map and I’m literally not on it anymore, but the ground is still solid. I’m just wondering if it’ll ever end

It was the exalted plains, or whatever the one with the dalish, and I didn’t ever get teleported back, just ran into what I think were invisible rocks, cause I could jump over them.
Update: I can not see my trail on the map anymore, and I have been able to walk underwater and found the end of the river
^Yeah, you've got yourself a glitch there. If you want to go back you may need to fast travel, or even reload.
No it’s not a glitch I was just that far out of the map that the boundaries stopped
^Right, which you were able to do because of a glitch. Normally you can't go beyond the map boundaries. And you definitely shouldn't be walking underwater.
Yeh I know that you actually meant which area, I just wrote it the way Jannifer wrote it, cause it seemed kinda.. sarcastic and lil rude, just the way they went on to say how you actually bring up the map.
Oh and Silver Warden, I dunno if it is entirely a glitch, as much as it is an error on the creation of the map. In the Hinterlands, the whole area is surrounded by an invisible wall, except for one small spot I found, in which case I literally jump over this invisible barrier and ta da, outside the map. Can walk anywhere I want. Also can do this in the Storm Coast, which actually there’s a video of. And yeh I was walking under water, went to Redcliffe Castle. I literally spent 2 days opening the ENTIRETY of the Hinterlands map due to my OCD and the fact I hated the map not being entirely shown and having parts that were black lol
^Well, if it's not a glitch than it's an exploit. Not in normal sense, but still. You clearly aren't meant to leave the map like that.
Yeh I know, but ah well, doesn’t hurt the game or give me an advantage. It’s really pointless but ofc I gotta do it haha
^Oh, I'm not saying you shouldn't do it. The OP was simply asking for an explanation of what he encountered, so I tried to provide it.
