First, let me just say it is great to be back on a fully working phone and talk about Dragon age business.
Now then, Giants. Giants have been an interesting addition to the creatures of Thedas despite being one of the enemies I hate to fight the most in Inquisition. A creature with an almost humanoid form that seems to constantly wander and eat whatever it finds including people? I find the idea to be almost as amazing and terrifying as Lurkers...and what the flip is going on with their hands!?!? It looks like they got rocks on them.
Considering their shape, some would consider them to have or at least be capable of higher intelligence and that is what most assumed when one was featured in a trailer seemingly not antagonistic towards the Inquisitor (we were so wrong). While I wouldn't be surprised if we found that to be true to some capacity later one thing we do know is that they have an affinity for magic or at least be attuned to certain elements based on the Ice Giant you fight from Jaws of Hakkon which may or may not be Hryngnar from the Avvar tale
Whatever else, I'm sure we'll see them again given that they are more common in Northern Thedas, in Tevinter, despite their nomadic lifestyle (which means there's way more of them up in that region compared to what we've seen) and I don't think it was any coincidence that the Red Templars or Imshael noted that among all the giants we've seen and they've used that not a single one was female...hmmm
